Great riding breeches

Ola ola,

If there is one thing I hate trying, then its new riding breeches. I once went to Divoza and tried almost every single breech in the store and none of them fitted me unless they costed way to many dollars. Generally when I find one that I like I end up buying every colour, just so I don’t need to buy any for a long time.

There is a few things that I need when it comes to breeches. They need to have stretch, so they don’t feel too tight when I ride. They need to have a high waist as unfortunately I do not have the smallest one. +  I want them to be as cheap as possible. With that list in mind, quite a lot of breeches already fall off already.

A while ago a stable friend tipped me about the riding breeches from Horze. I must admit I was a bit hesitant as I generally like to try on the breeches before I buy them, but since Horze had such a great black Friday deal on, I took the plunge. Today I received them and they are so nice! The silicon seems really nice and the fit is great. So I wanted to bring the tip on to you. If you are looking for the same type of breeches as me I can really recommend the ones below (they are currently on sale for 49.95 euro!):

They have them in several different colours.

You can buy them HERE.

The best equestrian black friday deals

Ola ola ,

I never used to care about sales before I moved to the Netherlands. For those that doesn’t know, there is this running joke that the Dutch are greedy, and I guess I’m becoming one.

Luckily there is this one day a year that literally makes people like me scream hurrah. Sounding very materialistic now? Oh well, means more money to buy my next horse. Or so I tell myself at least.

So what am I talking about? Black Friday sales of course. The sales where you get to buy what you have been wanting for so long. Maybe a new rug? That cap or those boots? Here you go, the best deals I’ve come across (these all ship internationally):

Epplejeck

Looking for a new rug og maybe a Kinglands saddle pad? Epplejeck got your covered. They have up  to 50% on a lot of items online. Their sales will start at midnight tonight, but I’ve seen a sneak peak and its definitely worth checking out HERE. If you are in the neighbourhood, they will have items with up to 75% sales in store.

Horze

Horze has up to 70% on over 9000 different items. They literally have everything you can imagine. I’ve heard their riding breeches are really nice, so I am going to buy one of those. You can find their sales HERE.

Divoza

Divoza has 25% off an item of choice, plus 25% of the entire autumn collection. You can check our their sales item HERE.

PS of SWEDEN

Gosh, I love so many of the PS of SWEDEN items. Like have you seen their emerald green saddle pad? It is so insanely pretty. Let’s not even discuss their bridles. If I ever get to start riding higher competitions I would definitely buy one of theirs. You can shop their 20% of everything HERE.

HOOKS

Hooks has some of the best deals in the world when it comes to equestrian product, and now it got even better with several different deals all week. You can find them HERE.

HYPOSTORE

Hypoestore decided to smash it out with either 25% or 30% on absolutely everything. If you are a earlybird you will get 30% off , while if you wait it becomes 25%. You can use use the code Earlybird ONLINE .I know where I will buy my stirrups now!

Luxury VS budget steals Helmets

edwina-silver.jpg

Since we are in the spirits of helmets today I figured I would put together a selection of the helmets currently on the market. As not all of us can afford to pay the top dollar for a helmet I put together a budget versus luxury selection. I used to have a Harry’s Horse for a long time, and though they are perfect for the price they cost I must say my Samshield Shadowmatt is a lot more comfortable. Another difference between the Harry’s Horse and the Samshield is that if you end up falling, Samshield will renew the shield for free as many times as you need. Normally helmets doesn’t come on sale, but Epplejeck and Divoza often have 25 % off on an item of choice, which means on a shadowmatt for 299 euro, you end up saving 80 euro. Always good to save some money 😉
