Cushing / PPID

When Mr.Grumpy got ill this summer I decided that I would do a test for Cushing/PPID. At that time my vet recommended that I would wait until now as this is the time of the year the horse coat changes and the costs for the labratory check is for free in October. So all you have to pay is for the blood test your vet has to take.
Yesterday it was finally Mr.Grumpy’s turn to take the blood test. I personally couldn’t be there so Julia(his other love) had to take the hit. Mr.Grumpy is probably one of the worst horses you can imagine at the vet. He is normally a pretty calm horse, but he totally freaks out when someone he doesn’t know starts touching him everywhere and specially when a needle arrives. But after some husseling they finally managed it.
Tomorrow I will receive the news wheather or not it was a virus this summer or if it actually was Cushing. He is in such good shape at the moment and looks really well, so I have no clue what to expect. Today he rolled around so much after lunging that he managed to get his halter off.
This summer when I thought he had it I totally freaked out, but after reading a lot about it I’m not so worried anymore. Of course it would be best if he didn’t have it,  but it’s not the end of the world if he does. We will have to wait and see.

Literally how he treats a vet(and me occasionally 😂)
